Tim Rhoades

Tim Rhoades has been a drummer with the Mesa Fire Medical Honor Guard since 1996. Tim took over as Mesa's Drum Sergeant in 2012 and has been instructing and working with new drummers ever since.

Tim has played drums and percussion since he was very young, playing in concert, marching and ensemble bands from elementary school through college.

Tim has had the honor of playing with the MFMD HG at many events and memorials, including traveling to Emitsburg, Maryland for the National Fallen Firefighter Memorial. He represented Mesa in New York for the 9/11 Memorial in 2002. He has played at the Congressional Fire Services Dinner in Washington DC. Tim has also represented Mesa for 25 years and has been the Drum Sergeant for the IAFF Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Colorado Springs, Colorado since 2012.

Tim is very excited to work with the generation of firefighter drummers as they perfect their craft and honor our brother and sister firefighters moving forward.
